Bloody Clown Halloween Makeup

Halloween 2016 is fast approaching, so I created a creepy clown using cruelty free special effects makeup only. To create the grin you need these products:

Ben Nye Spirit Gum
Ben Nye Scar Wax
Loose Powder (In your skin color)
Red Water Activated Paint (Ben Nye or Mehron)
Fake Blood

I used Bare Minerals powder foundation and Mehron red body paint and blood. You can start by outlining the shape of your smile with some eyeliner. Then apply spirit gum adhesive to the outline you created, While that became tacky, I rolled up long pieces of the scar wax to apply right over the glue. I usually see tutorials use Vaseline to keep the wax from sticking to your hands, but since Vaseline is NOT cruelty free I use some of my Burt's Bees chap stick and it worked fine. Don't forget to blend the outer edges to your face, and create uneven tears on the inner part of your wound. (ripped skin isn't pretty!) Finish the look with a red nose and crying eyes. I hope everyone has a safe and spooky Halloween!
